• Educating yourself about bullying. Learn about the different types of bullying, the signs and symptoms of bullying, and the impact of bullying on victims.
• Creating a safe and supportive environment. Be sure to create a safe and supportive environment at home, school, and in your community. This means setting clear expectations, listening to your children, and taking action when bullying occurs.
• Talking to your children about bullying. Talk to your children about bullying and make sure they know that you are there to support them if they are bullied.
• Taking action when bullying occurs. If you see bullying occurring, it is important to take action. This can include talking to the bully, involving your school counselor or teacher, and/or reporting the bullying to your school administration.
