1985

  • The Company was incorporated as Speciality Coatings Private Limited on July 08, 1985.

1987

  • The name of the Company was changed to Ambani Organics Private Limited.
  • A fresh certificate of incorporation subsequent to the name change was issued on December 08, 1987.

1996

  • There was a change in Management - the Promoter Mr. Rakesh Shah joined the Company as a Promoter Director.

1998

  • The Company started a Product Line for Packaging Industry.
  • The production capacity was increased from 20 tonne to 60 tonne per month.

2002

  • The Company started a Product Line for Paper Industry.
  • The production capacity was increased to 300 tonnes from 60 tonne per month.

2010

  • The Company started a Product Line for Paint and Construction Industry.
  • The production capacity was increased to 700 tonne from 300 tonne per month.

2013

  • The Company acquired a new Corporate Office at 351-ICON, Andheri.
  • The Company started a Research and Development Facility at Unit No 8, 24B, Parsi Panchayat Rd, Andheri, Mumbai.

2015

  • A major fire broke out at the Company’s insured Registered Office cum Manufacturing Unit on February 25, 2015.
  • New Building, Plant and Machinery were installed in the same year.

2016

  • The Company received GOTS Certification for a range of Products in Textiles Industries.
  • The Company acquired a controlling stake in Omega Mills Private Limited making it a Subsidiary.
  • The Company received ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System by Quality Research Organisation.

2017

  • The status of the Company was changed to a public limited company and the name of the Company was changed to Ambani Organics Limited by a special resolution passed on December 30, 2017.
  • The Indian Achievers’ Forum awarded the Promoter Mr. Rakesh Shah the Indian Achievers’ Award for Industrial Development.

2018

  • The Company was converted to a Public Company.
  • A fresh certificate of incorporation consequent to the conversion was granted to the Company on March 07, 2018.
  • The Company acquired a controlling stake in Om Maruti Glasswool and Wirenetting Product Private Limited.
  • The Company diversified production to Metal Octoate to increase product range in the paint industry.
  • The Research and Development Facility was shifted from Andheri, Mumbai to N-43, MIDC Tarapur.
  • The Company was given a certificate of membership for being a member in good standing of Indian Paint and Coating Association on January 01, 2018.

2024

  • The Company name was changed from Ambani Organics Ltd to Ambani Orgochem Ltd.
