1961
- The company was incorporated on 29th March at Calcutta as a result of collaboration between Scovill Manufacturing Company USA and Duncan Brothers & Co. Ltd.
- The main object of the company is to manufacture tyre tube valves and other allied products.
1962
- 90,972 shares were allocated to promoters and 1,75,000 shares to collaborators.
- 84,028 shares were offered at par to the public.
1968
- 35,000 bonus shares were issued in the proportion of 1:10.
1971
- 77,000 bonus shares were issued in the proportion of 1:5.
1975
- Associated Polymers Ltd. became a subsidiary of the company effective from 22nd November.
- 4,62,000 bonus shares were issued in the proportion of 1:1.
1991
- The name of the company was changed to Schrader Duncan Ltd. from Schrader-Scovill Duncan Ltd.
1993
- 9,24,000 bonus shares were issued in the proportion of 1:1.
1995
- 18,48,000 bonus equity shares were allotted in the ratio of 1:1.
1996
- The collaborators of the company, Schrader Automotive Inc. USA, merged with Bridge Products, Inc. USA.
- The company commenced an additional facility for manufacturing Schrader Bellows Pneumatic products in Nasik.
- The automotive division proposed to diversify into new products such as Natural Rubber Valves and Patches.
2006
- Schrader Duncan recommended a dividend of 45%.
2007
- The company created an E-mail ID for Investor Complaints: [email protected]
2008
- Mr. Ravi Swaminathan was appointed as Managing Director of the company.
2009
- The company recommended payment of dividend of Rs 1.00 per equity share of Rs 10/- each.
2010
- The registered office of the company was shifted from Mulund, Mumbai to F-33, Ranjangaon MIDC, Karegaori, Shirur 412 209.
2012
- The wholly owned subsidiary, Associated Polymers Limited, filed an application in court for merger with Schrader Duncan Limited and entered into an MOU for the sale of land located at Tarapur MIDC.
2013
- The company sanctioned the Scheme of Amalgamation of Associated Polymers Limited with Schrader Duncan Limited, effective on May 17, 2013.
2016
- The company changed its name from Schrader Duncan Limited to Duncan Engineering Limited.
