Year	History
2019	Rail Vikas Nigam announced the launch of its initial public offering. RVNL executes all types of railway projects, including new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, railway electrification, metro projects, workshops, major bridges, construction of cable stayed bridges, institution buildings.
2021	Rail Vikas Nigam entered into an MoU with NHAI. RVNL bagged an order worth nearly Rs 3812 crore for Indore Metro Rail Project. Rail Vikas Nigam signed an MoU with Tata Steel.
2022	Rail Vikas Nigam Limited signed an MoU with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited to jointly work in the field of infrastructure and project execution. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited successfully executed doubling works of Orr-Pipraigaon section of Bina-Guna line. RVNL received a Rs 1545-cr contract in Maldives. Rail Vikas Nigam won an NHAI road project worth Rs 408 cr.
2023	Testing and commissioning of Integrated Tunnel Communication system in the Sukhovi - Pherima new single line section of Lumding Division was completed. Manufacturing cum Maintenance of Vande Bharat Trainsets including Upgradation of the Government Manufacturing Units & Trainset Depots began.
2024	Rail Vikas Nigam Limited received a Letter of Award from National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). The company bagged a contract worth Rs 390 crore. RVNL received a Letter of Award from South Eastern Railway for a Rs 167 crore project. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited received a Letter of Award from Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd. for North Zone.
