  • Changed name to Nestle India Ltd on March 24.

  • Issued 10,00,000 14% NCD to Infrastructure Leasing on private placement.

  • Issued 100,51,850 equity shares to NFPIL shareholders per amalgamation.

1993

  • Commissioned and expanded Samalkha factory for cereals.
  • Allotted equity shares to Nestle SA raising stake to 51%.
  • Issued bonus shares in 1:4 proportion.

1994

  • Launched Cerelac Soya, Milkmaid, Dessert Mixes, Maggi 1-2-3 noodles, Contadina dressing, chocolates, Bonus, Polo.

1995

  • Commenced Bicholim Goa factory construction.
  • Commissioned instant noodles factory at Samalkha.
  • Started Kit Kat manufacturing at Ponda Goa factory.
  • Commissioned Nanjangud factory for MILO.
  • Issued private placement debentures: 3M 16.5% series PP-2, 2.5k 17.5% series PP-2 and PP-3.
