Company History

1992

  • The Company was incorporated as a private limited company under the name Nitin Spinners Private Limited.

1993

  • The Company set up its first unit at Hamirgarh, Bhilwara, for manufacturing coarse cotton yarns.
  • The Company commenced commercial production of its first unit.

1994

  • The Company was converted into a public limited company and changed its name to Nitin Spinners Limited.
  • The Company undertook its first expansion project, which involved the installation of one Autoconer Machine with 216 Rotors.

1995

  • The Company commenced commercial production of its first expansion project.

1996

  • The Company undertook its second expansion project, which involved the acquisition of two Autoconer open-end spinning machines.

1997

  • The Company commenced commercial production of its second expansion project.

1998

  • The Company undertook its third expansion, which involved the installation of two open-end spinning machines with 384 Rotors each.

1999

  • The Company was converted into a 100% Export Oriented Unit.
  • The Company was awarded export house status by the Government of India.
  • The Company undertook its fourth expansion project, which involved the installation of 14,112 spindles and 7 knitting machines.

2002

  • The Company commenced commercial production of its fourth expansion project.

2003

  • The Company undertook its fifth expansion project, which involved the addition of 13,104 spindles and 6 knitting machines.

2004

  • The Company completed its fifth expansion project, which added 13,104 spindles and 6 knitting machines, ahead of schedule.

2005

  • The Company undertook its sixth expansion project, involving the addition of 408 Rotors and 2 knitting machines.

2009

  • IDBI Bank Ltd. appointed Shri Saumya Sanker Banerjee as Nominee Director of the Company.

2014

  • Dr. R. Chattopadhyay and Smt. Aditi Mehta joined the Board of the Company as Additional Directors.
  • Nitin Spinners achieved financial closure of a Rs. 286 Crore expansion project.
  • The Company recommended a dividend of 7.50% for the financial year 2013-14.

2015

  • Nitin Spinners received an Award for Export Excellence from the Rajasthan government.
  • Nitin Spinners received an Award for Energy Conservation.

2016

  • Nitin Spinners was awarded a Bronze Trophy for the third highest exports of cotton yarn counts 50s and below.
  • Nitin Spinners was awarded a Bronze Plaque for the third highest exports of grey fabrics.
  • Sh. Dinesh Nolkha, Managing Director of the Company, received awards from Commissioner of Textiles.

2020

  • Commencement of commercial production of Finished Fabric Division.

2021

  • Nitin Spinners received awards from The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council for export performance.

2022

  • Nitin Spinners was awarded Gold Trophies for Export Performance by The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council.

2024

  • Nitin Spinners Limited informed the exchange regarding Texprocil Awards for the year 2021-22 and 2022-23.
