Piramal Finance was incorporated in India on April 11, 1984 and has been carrying on, as its main business of providing loans to customers for construction or purchase of residential property, loans against property, loans to real estate developers, loans to SMEs, etc. The company is registered with National Housing Bank (NHB) under Section 29A of the National Housing Bank Act, 1987. The Company received its Certificate of Registration (CoR) as a Non-Banking Financial Company - Investment and Credit Company (NBFC-ICC) from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on April 4, 2025. On the same day, the Company surrendered its CoR as a Housing Finance Company (HFC) and accordingly PBC requirement is no longer required w.e.f.
