Shantai Industries Reports Mixed Quarterly Performance with Revenue Decline

For the half-year period, revenue stood at Rs 674.14 lakh versus Rs 479.95 lakh in the previous year. The company posted a quarterly profit of Rs 10.49 lakh, up from Rs 9.66 lakh in the corresponding quarter last year. Half-year profit reached Rs 7.25 lakh compared to Rs 12.04 lakh in the previous year. Basic earnings per share for the quarter was Rs 0.140 versus Rs 0.644 last year, while half-year EPS was Rs 0.097 compared to Rs 0.803 previously. The company operates in a single business segment and reported no investor complaints during the quarter.

Shantai Industries Limited shareholders approved multiple key appointments at their 40th Annual General Meeting held on September 24, 2025. The company appointed CS Ranjit Binod Kejriwal as Secretarial Auditor for five consecutive years from 2025-26 to 2029-30. Kejriwal brings 20 years of experience in corporate laws, IPO listing, and compliance audit. The company re-appointed Mrs. Vandanaben Satishbhai Dalal as Non-Executive Independent Director for five years starting September 26, 2025. Dalal has served on the board for five years and brings legal expertise in corporate law and governance. Managing Director Mr. Harishbhai Fatandas Sawlani was re-appointed for five years from November 4, 2025, with 38 years of experience in textile manufacturing. His brother, Mr. Vasudev Fatandas Sawlani, was re-appointed as Whole-time Director for the same period, bringing 37 years of textile industry experience. Both managing positions include provisions for continuation of employment beyond age 70.
