1991

  • FORTUNE FINANCIAL SERVICES (INDIA) PVT LTD was incorporated as a Private Limited Company at Bombay.

1993

  • Fortune was accredited as a Category I Merchant Banker by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in April.

1994

  • The company obtained a fresh Certificate of change of name on conversion to a Public Limited Company.
  • A Special Resolution was passed in the AGM to convert the company into a Public Limited Company.

2002

  • Muthiah Ganapathy was appointed as Company Secretary of Fortune Financial Services.

2006

  • Fortune Financial Services (India) Ltd gave a bonus in the ratio of 1:1.

2009

  • Mr. Sanjay Kothari was appointed as an Additional Director of Fortune Financial Services India Ltd.

2010

  • Mr. Devesh Kumar was appointed as the Joint Managing Director and Group CEO.

2012

  • A new subsidiary company, Fortune Integrated Home Finance Limited, was incorporated to carry on the business of Home Loans.
  • Mr. Chintan Valia was appointed as an Additional Director of the Company.
  • A new subsidiary company, Fortune Integrated Assets Finance Limited, was incorporated to carry on the business of Vehicle & other assets Loans.

2013

  • Its subsidiary entered into a Memorandum of Understanding for the acquisition of 100% stake of Antique Stock Broking Limited.

2014

  • An agreement was entered into between Fortune Credit Capital Ltd and Fortune Integrated Assets Finance Ltd for the transfer of Vehicle Finance business.

2016

  • Fortune Financial Services India Ltd acquired shares of Kohinoor India Reinsurance Company Limited and United Petro Finance Limited.

2018

  • The company name was changed to The Investment Trust of India Ltd. from Fortune Financial Services (India) Ltd.
