Tips Films Reports Rs 2,585 Lakh Loss in Latest Quarter Despite Revenue Growth

Tips Films Limited reported a net loss of Rs 2,584.72 lakh for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 633.98 lakh in the previous quarter. The company's revenue from operations increased to Rs 5,648.62 lakh from Rs 9,536.51 lakh in the prior quarter. Cost of production of films was Rs 6,896.99 lakh, significantly higher than revenue. For the half-year period, the company posted a loss of Rs 950.74 lakh. Basic and diluted earnings per share stood at negative Rs 32.97 for the quarter. The company operates in film production and distribution as its single reportable business segment. Cash and cash equivalents decreased to Rs 251.64 lakh from Rs 1,705.01 lakh. Short-term borrowings reduced to Rs 16,300.04 lakh from Rs 19,001.40 lakh.
