1984

  • Electronic ignition system developed and introduced on Bajaj-Cub.

  • Waluj unit operations suspended from November 7 due to lockout; resumed after July 6, 1988.
  • Bajaj Auto signed agreements for technical assistance on electronic components and three-wheeler restyling.
