- The Company was incorporated as Elegant Marbles Private Limited.
- The Company was promoted by Mr. Rajesh Agrawal and Mr. Rakesh Agrawal to manufacture Polished Marble Tiles.
1985
- The Company commenced production of Polished Marble Tiles.
1987
- The Company diversified into the manufacture of Marble Slabs.
1989
- The Company started trading in Granite Tiles & Slabs and executed export orders to various countries.
- The Company set up production facilities to manufacture Granite Slabs at its existing site at Abu Road.
1994
- The Company became one of the few plants with integrated production facilities for Marble Tiles, Marble Slabs, and Granite Slabs.
- The name of the Company was changed to Elegant Marbles and Grani Industries Pvt Ltd and it was converted into a Public Limited Company.
1995
- The Company inaugurated a new retail outlet in Bombay's marble market.
- The Company planned to set up representative offices across India for effective marketing.
- The Company was awarded the Government Recognised Export House Status.
1998
- The company purchased a large showroom cum corporate office at Lower Parel, Mumbai.
2012
- The Company recommended a dividend of 20%.
2013
- Elegant Marbles & Grani Industries Ltd recommended a dividend of 20% on equity shares.
