Company History
1987
- The Company was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 12th August.
- The Company's main objective was to set up a plant for the manufacture of Chlorpyriphos Technical with a capacity of 900 tpa.
- The Company was promoted by Mr. P.P. Dave and Mr. J.P. Dave.
- The Company had a 130 tpa plant for manufacture of Hydroquinone (HQN).
- The Company executed turnkey jobs for setting up pesticide formulation units.
- The Government of India's Ministry of Science and Technology endorsed the Aimco's R&D Centre at Lote Parshuram, Chiplun as a certified laboratory.
1992
- APL entered into an agreement with Berol Nobel to act as exclusive representatives for marketing their range of emulsifiers in India.
1993
- The Company made a public issue of 19,00,000 No. of Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each for cash at par, which was oversubscribed by 5.5 times.
1995
- The Company issued 6,00,000 No. of Equity Shares on private placement basis to Institutional Investors.
1998
- The company introduced two new formulations in the India Market: Chlorpyriphos 10% Granules and Chlorpyriphos 1.5% Dust.
1999
- The Company introduced a new Insecticide and a new Herbicide developed by its Research & Development Centre.
- The Company proposed to obtain ISO-14000 certification after obtaining ISO-9002 certification.
2000
- The Company agreed to acquire up to 50% of the equity share capital of Hibiscus Het Pvt. Ltd.
- The Company proposed to obtain ISO-14000 certification after obtaining ISO-9002 certification.
- The Company introduced a new Insecticide and a new Herbicide developed by its Research & Development Centre.
2006
- Mr. Mukesh D Patel was appointed as Chairman of the Company.
