Alacrity Securities Reports 19.6% Revenue Decline But 7% Net Profit Growth in Q1 FY2025-26

Alacrity Securities Limited reported mixed quarterly results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Revenue from operations declined 19.6% to ₹70.63 crore compared to ₹87.86 crore in the same quarter last year. Total revenue fell 22.3% to ₹70.72 crore from ₹91.04 crore. Despite the revenue decline, the company improved profitability with profit before tax rising 13.1% to ₹5.13 crore from ₹4.53 crore, and net profit increasing 7% to ₹3.84 crore from ₹3.58 crore. Total expenses decreased 24.2% to ₹65.59 crore, primarily driven by a 37.8% reduction in purchase of stock-in-trade to ₹69.41 crore. The company reported positive inventory changes of ₹5.71 crore compared to negative changes of ₹26.64 crore in the previous year. Earnings per share declined to ₹0.82 from ₹1.50 in the corresponding quarter. The Board of Directors approved these unaudited results at their meeting held on August 11, 2025.
