Company History

1983

  • The Company was incorporated as Ashoka Metal Décor Private Ltd.

1986

  • AMD's first Crown Cork Plant imported from Germany started commercial production.

1989

  • AMD imported a plant from Sacmi (Italy) and started commercial production.

1995

  • The Company established a fully automatic, computerized plant of Sacmi (Italy) to manufacture quality crown corks.

1997

  • The Company received ISO Certification from DNV.

1999

  • The Company started expanding its capacities.

2000

  • The Company expanded its manufacturing base by installing another plant from Sacmi (Italy).

2002

  • The Company established its first PET Preforms manufacturing line imported from Krauss-Maffei of Germany.

2003

  • The Company established the second line to manufacture PET Preforms.
  • The Company established a unit to manufacture plastic closures for carbonated soft drinks with machines from Sacmi of Italy.

2004

  • The Company installed the most Advanced Crown Plant at Neemrana.
  • The Company changed its name to AMD Metplast Limited and received a fresh Certificate of Incorporation.
  • The Company imported a complete crown manufacturing plant from Italy and installed it at Neemrana, Rajasthan.

2007

  • The Company changed its name from AMD Metplast Ltd to AMD Industries Ltd.

2010

  • The expansion works of the Closure line at its manufacturing facilities at Neemrana were completed and started commercial production.

2013

  • The Company appointed Prakash Chandra Prusty as the Company Secretary.

2014

  • The Company recommended a dividend of Re. 0.90/- per equity share of face value of Rs. 10/- each.

2017

  • AMD Industries Limited launched its new product of packaging PET Jar having a capacity of 20 Ltrs.
