Amit Securities Reports 69.6% Decline in Net Profit for Q1 FY2026

Amit Securities Limited reported a significant decline in financial performance for Q1 FY2026. Net profit fell 69.6% year-on-year to Rs 1.51 lakhs, while revenue from operations decreased 26.7% to Rs 33.93 lakhs. The trading division, which generates the majority of revenue, saw a 26.7% decline to Rs 33.92 lakhs. Other income dropped 62.8% to Rs 2.08 lakhs. Total income declined 30.6% to Rs 36.01 lakhs compared to Rs 51.87 lakhs in the previous year. Despite the weak performance, the company maintains a debt-free balance sheet with total assets of Rs 1,342.94 lakhs. The decline was attributed to challenges in the trading segment and volatile commodity markets affecting the metals trading business.
