1979
- Incorporated on 5th December in Chennai, promoted by Dr. Prathap C. Reddy and associates; main object to run hospitals.
- Set up 250-bed hospital at Greams Road, Chennai with over 50 speciality departments.
- Acquired medical equipment including operating surgery unit, autoanalyser, angioscope, gamma camera, CAT scan.
- Established cardiology department with CAT scan, head and body scan, two special, four minor and four major operation theaters.
1982
- 3,49,900 shares subscribed by promoters, directors.
- Issued 26,50,100 shares at par; 9,50,100 reserved and allotted to promoters, friends, NRI promoters.
