Company History

1982

  • Ashima Syntex Ltd was incorporated as a Private limited company on the 17th June.

1988

  • The company started the sizing division and is engaged in sizing of PFY.
  • The company started the Polyester Division with the installation of 288 spindles.

1989

  • The company started the Draw twisting division with the installation of one Teijin Seiki, Draw twisting machine.
  • The company converted into a Public limited company on the 26th August.

1990

  • The company started the AGENCY DIVISION with a dealership of J.K.Synthetics Ltd for the sale of PFY and POY in Ahemadabad, Surat and North Gujarat.

1991

  • The company entered the construction business and began consultancy on construction matters and development of Real estates.
  • The company doubled the capacity of the Draw twisting division with the addition of one more machine in February.
  • The company started trading of texturised, draw twisted and sized yarn.

1992

  • The company acquired sizing facilities and J.K.Synthetics Agency in June.
  • The company acquired facilities for the manufacture of high tensile fasteners and automobile components as part of a package deal.

2000

  • The Ahmedabad-based Ashima Group launched a new collection of cotton fabric for the domestic garment industry every three months.

2007

  • Ashima designated an E-mail ID for Investor Complaints: [email protected]

2014

  • The company appointed Mrs. Koushlya Melwani as an additional director on the Board of the Company.
  • The company appointed Mr. Jayesh C. Bhayani as Chief Financial Officer.

2015

  • Ashima Ltd implemented a Scheme of Reconstruction and Compromise.
  • The company issued rights to its existing shareholders in the ratio of 24:10.
