Company History

2010

  • The Company was incorporated as a public limited company under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 as Astron Paper & Board Mill Limited, in Gujarat.

2011

  • The Company obtained the Certificate of Commencement of Business from the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat at Ahmedabad.
  • The Company received FSC-STD-40-004 V2/1 Standard for COC Certification in October and FSC-STD-40-007 V2-0 Sourcing reclaimed materials in April for the purchase of pre and post-consumer recycled carton boxes and manufacture of 100% FSC Recycled Kraft paper.

2012

  • The Company commenced commercial production.

2014

  • The Company achieved a turnover of more than Rs.100 crores.
  • The Company received ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certification for the manufacture and dispatch of Kraft Paper.
  • The Company received FSC-STD-40-004 V2/1 Standard for COC Certification and FSC-STD-40-007 V2-0 Sourcing reclaimed materials for the purchase of pre and post-consumer recycled carton boxes and manufacture of 100% FSC Recycled Kraft paper.

2016

  • The Company received the Authorised Economic Operator-T1 certificate.

2017

  • The Company received permission for availing Direct Port Delivery facility.

2018

  • Astron Paper & Board Mill Limited commenced commercial production at PM-2 located at Halvad, Gujarat.
  • The Company entered into an MOU with the promoters of Balaram Papers Pvt. Ltd to take over the existing plant located at Ganeshpura, Ta-Kadi, Dist-Mehsana, Gujarat.

2020

  • The Company received permission from the Government of Gujarat regarding the commencement of Unit-1 located at Halvad, Dist-Morbi, Gujarat.
  • The Company commenced production of Unit-2 located at Bhuj, Gujarat, which was stopped due to Covid-19.

2024

  • The Company announced a 10 Megawatt solar power plant project at District: Surendranagar Taluka: Dhangdhra, Village Gala.
