1986
- The Company was incorporated on 12th March and was promoted by A.V. Thomas Group.
- The Company started processing soyabean, minor oil seeds, and oil cakes by solvent extraction.
1987
- 60 Pref. and 110 No. of equity shares were subscribed for by the signatories to the Memorandum of Association.
- 15,99,890 No. of equity shares were issued at par, with 9,59,890 shares reserved and allotted to promoters, directors, their relatives, etc.
- A preferential allotment of shares was made to non-resident Indians, employees, and business associates.
1991
- The Company launched sunflower oil under the brand name 'SUNBEAM'.
- Forfeiture on 8,500 No. of equity shares was annulled.
1992
- The Company issued 17,60,000 Rights equity shares and additional 2,64,000 shares were allotted to retain over-subscription.
- 88,000 shares were offered to employees, with only 23,100 shares taken up.
1993
- The Company proposed to redeem the 12% redeemable cumulative preference shares of Rs 6000 on 30.9.1993.
1994
- The Company launched the sale of coconut oil in Karnataka and Sunflower oil in Kerala.
1996
- The Oleoresin division installed an Effluent Treatment Plant at Sathyamangalam and a Bio Composting method to dispose of the effluent.
1997
- The profitability of the Oleoresin division was not up to the mark due to the closure of the Sathyamangalam unit for 18 days on account of villagers' agitation on Environmental issues.
2000
- Kochi-based AVT Natural Products commissioned its post Marigold de-hydration centre at Tiptur, in Tumkur district, Karnataka.
2005
- AVT Natural Products Ltd entered into agreements with M/s Pan American Seeds, USA and Chrysantis USA.
2006
- AVT Natural Products Ltd gave a Bonus in the Ratio of 1:1.
- AVT Natural Pte Ltd, Singapore, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, entered into an agreement with Kemin Foods L.C.(USA) to manage their wholly owned subsidiary in Thailand, Siagra Company Ltd.
2007
- Mr. Dileepraj P was appointed as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.
2008
- AVT Natural signed a Critical Global Strategic Partnership Agreement with Kemin Health L.C., Des Moines, lowa, USA.
- The Company signed a Decaffeination of Tea Agreement with Finlay Tea Solutions UK Ltd.
2010
- AVT Naturals won the second prize of Kerala State Pollution Control for excellence in pollution control by large industries in Kerala for 2009/10.
2011
- The Board of Directors recommended a dividend of 50% on the Equity Capital, for the year ended March 31, 2011.
- The Registered Office of the Company was shifted from No. 64 to No. 60, Rukmani Lakshmipathy Salai, Egmore, Chennai.
2012
- AVT Natural started its U.K. Subsidiary.
- The Board of Directors declared a Special Interim Dividend of 25% on the occasion of the Company's Silver Jubilee.
2013
- The Company issued Bonus Shares in the Ratio of 1:1.
- The Company split its Face value of Shares from Rs 10 to Re 1.
- AVT Natural launched Health Supplements.
2014
- The Company approved the Final Dividend of 45% on the Equity Capital, for the year ended March 31, 2014.
2015
- AVT Natural expanded its plant capacity at South Vazhakulam.
2018
- AVT Natural Products Limited renewed the Critical Global Strategic Partnership Agreement with KEMIN HEALTH L.C., USA.
