- The company obtained the certificate of commencement of business from the Registrar of companies, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
1996
- The company started formulating OPV from bulk.
1999
- The company acquired WHO-GMP certification.
2000
- BIBCOL bagged an order of 170 million doses from UNICEF and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt.of India.
2001
- The company bagged an order of 270 million doses from UNICEF and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt.of India.
2005
- The company signed a MoU with DBT for the fiscal year.
2006
- The company secured a place among the Top 20 Bio tech companies in the country through its commendable performance.
2007
- Sh. N S Samant, Joint Secretary, Department of Biotechnology was appointed as Director of the Company.
- Shri. S Subbiah was appointed as Managing Director on the Board of Directors.
2011
- The Company appointed Ms. Sheila Sangwan, Sh. Sreeshan Raghwan and Dr. Y. K. Gupta, as Directors of the Company.
2013
- BIBCOL bagged the full order of MOHFW for supply of Oral Polio Vaccine for the national immunization programme.
