The company began setting up a project for manufacture of chemical products in a phased manner since December.

1992

The company was converted into a Public Limited Company on the 15th April.
The first module of the project was put into commercial operation during August.

1993

The second module of the project is expected to go into commercial production by the fourth quarter of the year.

2008

The company name was changed from Vamotiwala Chemical Industries Ltd to Caprolactam Chemicals Ltd.
