Company History

1991

  • Sree Sakthi Paper Mills Ltd., was launched with an installed capacity of 6000 Tonnes per annum with a capital investment of Rs. 315 Lakhs.

1993

  • Paper Mill set up for manufacture of Kraft Paper with an initial Capacity of 15 tonnes per day.

1994

  • Production increased by 4000 MT p.a. at Kraft Unit.

1995

  • Duplex Board Plant commissioned with 9000 MT p.a.
  • The Company commissioned Merk Save All system to have a 100 % zero effluent discharge system.

1996

  • Production increased by 2000 MT p.a. at Kraft Unit.
  • Started coating at Duplex Board Unit.
  • Installed Zero Discharge System at Duplex Unit.
  • Further expansion was carried out to increase the production to 12000 MT/Tonnes with an additional investment of Rs. 100 Lakhs.
  • The company went for an up gradation by adding necessary equipments with an investment of 100 Lakhs.

1998

  • Colour Board production 2500 MT p.a. at Duplex Unit.
  • Received Pollution Control Board Award for Best Unit at Duplex Unit.

1999

  • Received Pollution Control Board Award for Best Unit at Kraft Unit.
  • ISO awarded to Duplex Unit.

2000

  • SO 9002 awarded to Kraft Unit.

2001

  • Ribbed Kraft production at Kraft Unit.
  • Achieved Export of 1600MT/ Annum from Duplex Unit.

2003

  • Production increased at Duplex Unit by 5000 MT p.a.
  • Duplex Board unit went for a major expansion to achieve 14500 MT/ annum with an investment of 88 Lakhs.

2004

  • Started production of Double Coated board at Duplex Unit.
  • Increased production at Duplex Unit by 6000 MT/Annum.
  • The unit went for further expansion with an additional investment of 277 lakhs to achieve an additional quantity of 9600 MT/ annum.
  • The company installed a Double coated machine with an investment of 200 Lakhs.

2005

  • Increase in production at Kraft Unit by 8400 MT/Annum.

2006

  • Sree Sakthi Paper has recommended a dividend at 5%.

2007

  • Sree Sakthi Paper has recommended a dividend at 10%.
  • The third kraft paper factory of the Company at Industrial Development Area, Edayar, Aluva will be commissioned on March 28, 2007.

2008

  • Sree Sakthi Paper has recommended a dividend at 15%.
  • Sree Sakthi Paper has designated an Email ID for Investor Department.

2009

  • Sree Sakthi Paper has recommended a dividend at 15%.

2010

  • Sree Sakthi Paper is granted with the Status Certificate of Export House by Director General of Foreign Trade.

2011

  • Sree Sakthi Paper has recommended a dividend at 21%.

2012

  • Sree Sakthi Paper has recommended a dividend at 21%.

2014

  • Sree Sakthi Paper Mills Ltd has recommended 6% on Equity Share Capital of the Company.

2019

  • Company name has changed to Cella Space Ltd. from Sree Sakthi Paper Mills Ltd.
