City Online Services Reports Loss and Faces Audit Qualifications in Quarterly Results

City Online Services Limited reported a net loss of Rs 3.68 lakhs for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, compared to a loss of Rs 8.09 lakhs in the same period last year. Revenue from operations increased to Rs 199.20 lakhs from Rs 218.52 lakhs in the previous year quarter. The company's auditors issued a qualified opinion highlighting three key issues: a Rs 11.47 lakhs difference between revenue reported in books versus GST returns, outstanding statutory liabilities of Rs 11.41 lakhs (including Rs 2.58 lakhs in Employee Provident Fund and Rs 8.83 lakhs in unremitted TDS), and unbilled revenue of Rs 22.51 lakhs for services rendered but not invoiced. The company's earnings per share was negative Rs 0.07. Management acknowledged the audit qualifications and stated they will take necessary steps to resolve the issues.
