Coastal Roadways Reports Mixed Performance with Net Profit Drop in Latest Quarter

Coastal Roadways Limited announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. The company reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,035 lakhs for the quarter compared to Rs 1,008 lakhs in the previous quarter. Net profit for the quarter was Rs 74 lakhs, down from Rs 88 lakhs in the previous quarter. For the half year, revenue stood at Rs 2,060 lakhs versus Rs 1,983 lakhs in the corresponding period last year, while net profit increased to Rs 133 lakhs from Rs 117 lakhs. The company operates through two business segments: Freight Division and Supply Chain Solutions Division. The results were approved by the Board of Directors at their meeting held on November 13, 2025. The company also disclosed a prior period error correction related to accounting treatment of mutual fund investments classified under Fair Value through Profit or Loss, which resulted in restatement of comparative figures for impacted periods.
