Dhatre Udyog Reports Loss in Q2 FY26 Amid Manufacturing Shutdown and Asset Disposal

Dhatre Udyog Limited (formerly Narayani Steels Limited) reported a net loss of Rs. 97.27 lakhs for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, compared to a profit of Rs. 122.90 lakhs in the same period last year. The company has shut down its manufacturing operations due to aging plant and outdated machinery, disposing of assets as scrap while exploring real estate development opportunities at its Kakinada land.

Dhatre Udyog Limited Reports Q1 FY2026 Results with Manufacturing Operations Shutdown

Dhatre Udyog Limited approved its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. The company reported revenue from operations of ₹902.64 lakhs and a net profit of ₹10.44 lakhs for the quarter. The Board decided to shut down manufacturing operations due to aging plant, outdated machinery and technology obsolescence leading to higher production costs. The company is disposing of plant and machinery as scrap and has entered into an agreement for sale of factory land. Dhatre Udyog is engaged in trading of iron and steel products and has provided 100% impairment on its investment in associate company Hari Equipments Private Limited due to substantial losses. The statutory auditors issued a qualified opinion citing pending confirmations for trade receivables and payables, and unavailability of physical verification report for assets held for sale worth ₹331.99 lakhs.
