1983

  • The company received a letter of intent for the manufacture of metal cutting machines including grinding machines.
  • The company entered into a technical collaboration agreement with Maschinenfabrik Gehring, West Germany for the manufacture of honing machines in India.

1986

  • The company became a Public Ltd. company and its name was changed to EMA India Ltd.

2003

  • Ema India workers called off a strike.

2007

  • The company recommended a Dividend at 10% for the financial year 2006-07.

2008

  • The company introduced an E-mail ID for Investors Complaints.

2009

  • The company entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with M/s. Megatherm Electronics Pvt. Ltd.
