- GV Films entered into a draft agreement with Pentamedia Graphics Ltd to transfer Internet web-cast rights of 2000 film titles.
- The Company entered into an agreement with Kavitha Films International to acquire Internet rights of 1,000 South Indian movie titles.
- The Company entered into an agreement with NSDL and CDSL for dematerialisation.
2001
- G.V. Films Ltd entered into a tie-up with Zen & Art of Client Server Computing Ltd to supply 4,000 Hindi movies in beta format for video-on-demand through the Internet.
2005
- GV Films signed an MOU with 1-Net Singapore for web streaming of over 6000 films.
- GV Films entered into an MOU with Sidesh Films, Mumbai.
- The Company split its Face value of Shares from Rs 10 to Re 1.
- The Company issued Rights in the Ratio of 7:10.
- Mr V Ramasubramanian was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company.
2006
- GV Films Ltd signed an MOU with Mr. R D Rajasekhar for the Turn Key Production of the Company's films for the year 2006-07.
- The Company consolidated its Face value of Shares from Rs 1 to Rs 10.
2007
- The Company planned to launch a film magazine named SouthSide for south Indian viewers.

2008
- The Registered Office of the Company was changed from Seshadri Road, Alwarpet, Chennai to F-0, Whispering Heights, 132, St.Marys Road, Alwarpet, Chennai.

- GV films celebrated its 25 years with a website launch, a Marathi film Vithal Vithal by Daboo Malik, and a performance by Arman Malik.

- GV films has entered into a MOU with Omkar Films and Raj Television to source, restore, and compile a library of 5,710 feature films in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages.
