Company History

1986

  • Ganesh Benzoplast Limited was incorporated on May 15.
  • The Company obtained its Certificate of Commencement of Business on May 21.

1988

  • The first phase of the project comprising of facilities for manufacture of 3600 tonnes per annum of Benzoate Plasticizers was set up.
  • The project went on stream in July.

1990

  • The second phase of the project for manufacture of Benzoic Acid and Sodium Benzoate was taken up.

1992

  • The project for manufacture of 1800 tonnes per annum of Benzoic Acid and 1800 tonnes per annum of Sodium Benzoate commenced its commercial production in August.

1994

  • The Company expanded its benzoate plasticizers capacity from 3600 tpa to 7200 tpa.
  • The commercial operations of the 1st Phase of 30,000 KL chemical storage facility started in October.
  • The Company placed shares with foreign Institutional Investors and Corporate bodies to finance the expansion of chemical storage facility.

1995

  • The 2nd Phase of 40,000 KL chemical storage facility commenced operations in April.

2002

  • Ramesh S Pilani Director of the Company has been appointed as Chairman & Technical Advisor of the Company

2007

  • The registered office of the Company will be shifted from Andheri(E), Mumbai to Marine Lines(E), Mumbai.

2022

  • Ganesh Benzoplast awarded for highest Liquid Cargo Handling (Non-PSU) at JNPT during the year 2021-22.
  • Ganesh Benzoplast bags contract from ANA Oils for supply of liquid storage tank.

2023

  • Ganesh Benzoplast Limited received Arbitration award in favour of the Company.
