Glance Finance Reports Quarterly Results with Net Profit of ₹68 Lakhs

Glance Finance Limited announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. The company reported a net profit after tax of ₹68 lakhs for the quarter, compared to ₹7.88 lakhs in the previous quarter. Total income for the quarter was ₹914.84 lakhs, with revenue from operations including interest income of ₹11.38 lakhs, fees and commission income of ₹55.08 lakhs, and sale of traded goods contributing ₹729.96 lakhs. Total expenses stood at ₹846.05 lakhs. The company's total assets increased to ₹6,117.72 lakhs as of September 30, 2025, up from ₹5,321.22 lakhs in the previous year. Basic earnings per share was ₹0.88. The auditors issued a qualified review report noting that provision for gratuity and leave encashment was made on estimated basis rather than actuarial valuation as required under accounting standards.

Glance Finance to Invest ₹43.5 Crore in Transformer Manufacturer Kotson's Private Limited

Glance Finance Limited announced its plan to invest ₹4,35,06,450 in Kotson's Private Limited through acquisition of 5,80,086 equity shares at ₹75 per share (face value ₹10 with ₹65 premium) via private placement. The investment will increase Glance Finance's stake in KPL from 1.07% to 5.14%. KPL, incorporated in 1978, specializes in designing, manufacturing and supplying transformer solutions including oil-filled, dry type, special purpose and renewable energy transformers with a production capacity of 4,000 MVA. The company reported turnover of ₹16.45 crore in 2022-23 and ₹32.51 crore in 2021-22, with nil turnover in 2023-24. The acquisition aligns with Glance Finance's investment-focused business model aimed at generating long-term value and capital appreciation. The transaction is expected to complete by September 30, 2025, and is not classified as a related party transaction.

Glance Becomes India's Fastest Unicorn with $1.8B Valuation in One Year

Glance, a consumer tech platform founded in 2019, has achieved a $1.8 billion valuation within one year, making it India's fastest unicorn according to the ASK Private Wealth Hurun India Unicorn and Future Unicorn Report 2025. The Bengaluru-based company, founded by Naveen Tewari, Abhay Singhal, Mohit Saxena, and Piyush Shah, operates as a subsidiary of InMobi and delivers AI-driven content to smartphone lock screens. Glance has raised $390 million across four funding rounds from investors including Google, Mithril Capital, and Jio Platforms. The company reported $73.1 million in revenue for fiscal year 2023-24, up from $38.7 million the previous year, while incurring a net loss of ₹929 crore. With over 235 million active users, Glance is expanding its AI-driven commerce platform to the US, Japan, and India, targeting 10 million devices in Japan by December. The company recently appointed Mansi Jain as Chief Operating Officer and secured ₹200 crore in debt financing from Stride Ventures.
