GTL Infrastructure Limited's Board of Directors approved the appointment of Mr. Ajit Shanbhag as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel effective August 8, 2025. The appointment was based on recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Audit Committee. Mr. Bhupendra Kiny will cease to be CFO on August 7, 2025, transitioning to a new role within the company. Shanbhag, aged 52, is a qualified Chartered Accountant with 27 years of post-qualification experience in financial planning, budgeting, cost management, credit control, audit, taxation and statutory compliances. He has been associated with GTL Infrastructure for over 18 years and has demonstrated expertise in handling complex financial matters.

GTL Infra Reports Wider Net Loss Despite Marginal Revenue Growth in Q1

GTL Infra posted a net loss of 2.32 billion rupees in Q1, compared to a loss of 2.02 billion rupees in the same period last year. The company's revenue increased slightly to 3.34 billion rupees from 3.32 billion rupees year-over-year. The telecommunications infrastructure company saw its losses deepen by approximately 15% despite the modest revenue improvement.
