2002	The Government of India conducted a disinvestment exercise in respect of 25% of its shareholding in VSNL. PanatoneFinvest Limited entered into a share purchase agreement on February 6. A shareholders agreement was entered into on February 13. A letter of offer was made by Panatone on March 27.
2005	The company was incorporated on January 17 as a public limited company under the Companies Act, 1956. A certificate of incorporation was issued by the Registrar of Companies on February 17.
