1998

  • Investment Information and Credit Rating Agency placed the non-convertible debenture and fixed deposit programmes of Hotel Leelaventure Ltd. under rating watch

1999

  • The company undertook a five-star hotel project through its subsidiary Leela Hotels Ltd.
  • Leela Hotels Ltd. was awarded an interim relief by the Delhi High Court
  • The company planned to build a hotel in the scenic backwaters of Kerala

2000

  • The company allotted balance equity shares to the promoters
  • Dr. K. U. Mada was appointed as the Director and Mr Venu Krishnana as an Executive Director

2001
