Intrasoft Technologies Reports 10.5% Revenue Decline in Q1 FY2024 Due to E-commerce Challenges

Intrasoft Technologies Limited reported a decline in financial performance for Q1 FY2024. Revenue from operations decreased 10.5% to ₹204.13 crores from ₹228.11 crores in the previous year. EBITDA fell 35.8% to ₹6.75 crores, while PAT dropped 52.6% to ₹2.75 crores. EBITDA margin contracted to 3.3% from 4.6%, and PAT margin reduced to 1.3% from 2.5%. The decline was primarily attributed to challenges in the e-commerce business. The 123Stores segment saw revenue fall 10.6% to ₹201.86 crores with EBIT declining 44.3%. However, the 123Greetings segment showed growth with revenue increasing 6.7% to ₹1.91 crores and EBIT rising 20%. The company maintains a net cash position of ₹40.55 crores. Management remains cautiously optimistic, focusing on operational efficiencies and cost optimization while navigating challenging macro conditions in the US e-commerce market.
