1976
- Kandagiri Spinning Mills Limited was incorporated on 5th May under The Companies Act, 1956 as The Ammapet Sizing Mills (P) Limited.
1978
- The Company's name was changed to Kandagiri Spinning Mills (P) Limited pursuant to special resolutions passed on 17th April.
- A fresh Certificate of Incorporation was obtained on 15th July.
1979
- The Company commenced commercial production with an Installed Capacity of 3260 Spindles.
1983
- The Company increased its Installed Capacity to 10400 Spindles.
1986
- The Company increased its Installed Capacity to 18700 Spindles.
1988
- The Company increased its Installed Capacity to 23500 Spindles.
1989
- The word 'Private' was deleted from the Company's name with effect from 1st January.
1991
- The Company increased its Installed Capacity to 24652 Spindles.
1992
- The Company became a full-fledged Public company with effect from 21st November.
1993
- The Company increased its Installed Capacity to 28492 Spindles.
- The Company contemplated approaching the capital market by way of PCD issue, which was deferred due to the disruption of the capital market.
1994
- The Company had an Installed Capacity of 38012 Spindles as on 07/09/1994.
- The Company increased its Installed Capacity to 33212 Spindles.
2005
- The Company recommended a dividend of Rs 3.50 per share of face value of Rs 10.
2006
- The Company recommended a dividend of Rs 5 per share of face value of Rs 10.
2007
- The Company recommended a dividend of Rs 5 per share of face value of Rs 10 each.
2008
- The Company recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share of face value of Rs 10 each.
2011
- The Company recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2 per equity share of Rs. 10 each.
2012
- The Board inducted Sri S. Gnanasekharan as an independent director.
2014
- Sri S. Vijay Shankar was designated as Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
