1988
- Lee & Nee Softwares (Exports) Ltd. (LNSEL) is incorporated on 18th November, with the main object of setting up a 100% Software export oriented unit at Bhubaneshwar & Calcutta primarily to offer cost effective and quality software solution to the overseas clients.
- The Company is promoted by a group of professionals and businessmen with vast experience.
- The Company has developed some useful packages viz: OPTI-FINANCE, OPTI-COST, TAXMAN, CODEX, FOLIO MANAGER, SHARE PROCESS, FR-OFF, IMAGE SECRET, COAL HANDLER.
1993
- The Company has made the export of its own products developed In-house in Software Technology Park, Bhubaneswar in the Asian Market.
- The Company is developing its own software packages indigenously.
1994
- The expansion programme at the STP unit in Calcutta has been implemented.
- The Company came out with a public issue of 21,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs.10/- each for cash at par which was oversubscribed.
1995
- The management proposes to buy a suitable model as per current need since there is downward trend in Hardware prices and models are available easily in international market.
1996
- The company is trying to upgrade its operation tuned with the current trend in Information technology sector such as Multimedia, Home computing, Internet & Intranet both products & services.
- In the field of communication, company has launched Video Conferencing as a product under the trade name of VIDNET.
1997
- Lnsel Computer Academy, its Education Division has come into operation recently and are hopeful to have a reasonable share of the I.T. Training Market.
1998
- The Company is developing its own software packages indigenously and designing World wide Web sites of its own.
1999
- The Company has taken up Web Designing & Web enabled services including E-commerce and Training Activity as its focus area of operation.
- It has been proposed to amalgamate Lnsel Finance Limited having an 100% export oriented unit for Software development, with the Company.
2000
- City-based Lee and Nee (Software) Exports Ltd is all set to expand its round-the-clock e-commerce service facilitating on-line shopping, job hunting, training, travel, shopping and share trading.
- US firm Kick Communications Inc and Lee & Nee Softwares (Exports) Ltd is entering into a 50:50 joint venture to launch a new company Kick Communications India Ltd.
- Lee & Nee has set up a chain of e-commerce centres in Calcutta and is now expanding its network to over 33 cities and towns.
2001
- Lee & Nee Softwares (Export) Ltd. has launched aapkidukaan.com, a Web-based shopping mall catering to business to consumers and business to business sectors.
2005
- Lee & Nee Softwares Exports Ltd has entered into a Tie up with a Business provider to get business of Australian & UK Market.
2006
- The Registered Office of the Company shifted from Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata to Camac Street, Kolkata.
