Company History

1965

  • The Company was incorporated as a partnership firm by Banwarilal Sutodiya, Bimal Kumar Sutodiya, Yashodadevi Sutodiya, Shantidevi Sutodiya under the name and style of Sutodiya & Co.

1984

  • The Company was converted into Private Ltd. Co.

1994

  • The Name of the Company was changed to Greenline Tea & Exports Private Limited and was converted into Public Limited Company.

1995

  • The Company undertook a modernisation cum expansion of division and tea processing facilities.
  • The installed capacity was to be increased from 4.50 lakh kgs. to 15 lakh kgs. per annum by the year 2000.
  • 53,80,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each were issued at a premium of Rs 5 per share through a Prospectus in April.

1996

  • 19,00,360 equity shares were allotted to promoters and their associates.
  • 53,80,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each were issued at a premium of Rs 5 per share through a Prospectus.

2011

  • The Registered Office of the Company was shifted to 14, N. S. Road, 3rd Floor, Sathi Chamber, Room No. 314B, Kolkata.

2012

  • The Company changed its name from Greenline Tea & Exports Ltd. to Lykis Ltd.
  • The Company shifted its Registered Office to 14, N. S. Road, 3rd Floor, Sathi Chamber, Room No. 314B, Kolkata.

2015

  • Lykis Ltd participated in Gulfood, Dubai.
  • Lykis Ltd participated in Beauty World ME.
  • Lykis Ltd participated in I for Africa, Ahmedabad.

2016

  • The Registered Office of the Company was shifted from 14, N.S. Road to 4A, N. C. Dutta Sarani, 4th Floor, Room No. 402, Kolkata.

2017

  • The Company won the prestigious Ministry of Ayush awards Kesh Gaurav as the Most Holistic Product.

2019

  • Lykis announced its arrival into the premium cosmetics range of products in the FMCG segment with the introduction of brand H&H.
