1985

  • The company was incorporated on 2nd January as a Public Limited Company under the name Vidhata Leasing Ltd.
  • The company was granted a certificate of commencement of business on 16th March by the Registrar of Companies Delhi and Haryana.

1990

  • The Management of the company changed hands in January.
  • The first public issue opened for public subscription on 15th January.
  • The name of the company was changed to Mefcom Finlesse Mutual Fund Ltd on 26th March.
  • A fresh certificate of incorporation was issued on 18th May.
  • The name of the company was changed to Mefcom Capital Markets Ltd on 6th December.
  • A fresh certificate of incorporation was issued on 18th December.

1991

  • The company received its approval as Category II Merchant Bankers from the Securities & Exchange Board of India on 26th February.
  • The company started working, which is considered its first year of operations.

1993

  • The Company was upgraded to Category I Merchant Bankers from 1st February.
  • The Company was approved by the Reserve Bank of India as a full-fledged foreign exchange money changer in May.
  • The Company was approved as an Authorised Dealer on the OTC Exchange of India in October.

1994

  • The company was associated with the management of 82 public issues until 30th September.

2002

  • The Company decided to keep its authorised capital at Rs 100 million.
  • The Company issued up to 71,50,000 equity shares to existing shareholders on a rights basis.
  • The face value of the equity shares remained at Rs 10.

2008

  • Mefcom Capital acquired a 5% strategic stake in Jaipur Stock Exchange.

2022

  • The Company split its face value from Rs. 10 to Rs. 2.
