2003
- The company became a public company under the name of MSP Steel & Power Limited on 9th September.
- The name of the Company was changed to MSP Steel & Power Private Limited in March.
2004
- The company commenced production of sponge iron from Kiln I on 4th November.
2005
- The group turnover was in excess of Rs. 25000 lacs.
2007
- MSP Steel & Power signed an MOU with the Government of Chhattisgarh.
2008
- Mr. Debabrata Mukherjee was appointed as Non Executive Independent director of the Company.
2010
- The company started operation of its 115500 MTPA Sponge Iron Plant and 18 MW Power Plant.
- Mr. P. K. Gupta was appointed as Independent director of the company.
2011
- MSP Steel recommended a 6% dividend on Preference share capital and a final dividend of Rs. 0.50 per equity share.
2012
