- The Company was incorporated as a Private Limited Company under the name of Onward Engineering Technologists Private Limited.
1993
- OTL became one of the leading companies in India operating in the field of Information Technology, specializing in 'High End' software solutions.
1994
- The Company was converted into a Public Limited Company and the name was changed to Onward Technologies Limited.
- The Onward Group initiated steps for consolidation of its synergistic business lines in Information Technology.
- The Company made a Public Issue of 10,50,500 No. of Equity Shares.
1995
- The Company offered Software Technology based Systems Integration solutions.
- The Company undertook expansion of its existing facilities in the country.
- The Company's project for setting up a Software Technology Park was delayed due to non-availability of suitable premises.
1996
- The Company was awarded recognition as having an in-house R & D Unit by the Govt. of India.
1997
- The Company's U.S. subsidiary, Onward Technologies, Inc. became operational with offices in California and Utah.
- Mr. Ray Olsen was appointed as head of overseas operations.
- Onward Technologies entered into a strategic alliance with Mod-Tap to provide Mod-Tap's powercat range of new generation networking products.
1998
- Onward Technologies, Inc., USA increased its presence across the United States.
- The Company implemented ISO 9000.
1999
- The Company set up a Branch office in the U.K.
- The Company issued 7,70,000 equity shares on a private placement basis.
- Onward Novell India, a 50:50 venture between Onward and Novell Inc, was established with the trademark 'Everything's Connected'.
2000
- The Company allotted 3,600 No. of equity shares under the employees' stock option plan.
- The Company allotted 14,150 No. of Equity Shares to its employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme.
- The Company made a Preferential Allotment of 7,70,000 Shares to various parties.
- The Company entered into a Global Partnership Agreement with Novell, Inc.
2003
- The company acquired the banking product business of Kale Consultants Ltd.
- Onward Technologies purchased Kale's banking products.
- Mr. Milind Bhat was appointed as a 'Compliance Officer' and later resigned, being replaced by Mr. Yogesh Desai.
2004
- Onward Technologies and Experia Solutions were awarded a contract for setting up, managing and running a Dedicated Relationship Center (DRC) from a well-known learning management solution provider in the USA.
2005
- Onward Technologies inaugurated an additional facility at the Pune Development Center.
2006
- Onward Tech launched a CAE simulation centre.
2007
- Onward Technologies signed an agreement with John Deere India Ltd to set up a dedicated Engineering Design Services Centre in Pune.
2008
- Onward Technologies opened a second product engineering excellence center at e-Space, Pune.
2012
- Onward Technologies opened a new development center in Michigan.
2013
- The company appointed Mr. Pranay Vakil and Mr. Nandkumar Pradhan as Additional Directors.
2016
- Onward Technologies set up an Engineering Excellence Center (EEC) in Chennai.
2017
- Onward Technologies entered into a partnership with Dassault Systèmes India Business Transformation channel to accelerate the adoption of Dassault Systèmes portfolio of applications and industry solution experiences.
2018
- Founder and Executive Chairman of Onward Technologies was honored with a lifetime achievement award.
- Onward Technologies entered into a partnership with Quark Software, Inc. to offer its end-to-end content automation platform in the Asia-Pacific market.
