2015	Orient Cement was awarded the Greentech Environment Gold award 2015.
2016	Orient Cement acquired Jaypee cement units for Rs 1,950 cr.
2018	Orient Cement acquired 2 Jaypee units for Rs 2,000cr. Orient Cement agreed to buy 74% stake in Bhilai Cement plant from JP Associates. Orient Cement got green nod for Karnataka plant.
2023	The Company commissioned the Waste Heat Recovery System.
2024	Adani Group signed a binding agreement for the acquisition of Orient Cement Ltd at an equity value of Rs. 8,100 crore. The Company commissioned the 2nd phase of Waste Heat Recovery System at its Chittapur Integrated Cement Plant.
