Company History

1977

  • Mr. Promod Gupta started dealing in and making radio transistors, receivers and black & white television components.

1981

  • The PG Group set up its first factory at Delhi.

1989

  • The PG Group started making entire black & white TV sets on a contract manufacturing basis.

2003

  • The company was incorporated as PG Electroplast Private Limited.
  • The company entered into backward integration with foray into plastic injection moulding.

2005

  • The company increased its plastic injection moulding capacity of Unit I, Greater Noida to 4,244 tonnes p.a.
  • The company received ISO 9001:2000 certification for Unit I, Greater Noida.

2007

  • The company set up a PCB assembly line for DVDs with a capacity of 10,00,000 pieces at Unit I, Greater Noida.
  • The company set up an assembly line for DVDs with a capacity of 3,00,000 pieces at Roorkee.
  • The company set up an assembly line for CTVs with a capacity of 96,000 pieces at Roorkee.

2008

  • The company increased its plastic injection moulding capacity of Unit I, Greater Noida to 4,495 tonnes p.a.
  • The company set up an assembly line for CTVs with a capacity of 10,05,000 sets at Unit I, Greater Noida.
  • The company increased the capacity of its CTV assembly line at Roorkee to 6,00,000 pieces.

2009

  • The company increased its plastic injection moulding capacity of Unit I, Greater Noida to 6,577 tonnes p.a.
  • The company set up a PCB assembly line for CTVs with a capacity of 6,00,000 pieces at Unit I, Greater Noida.

2010

  • The company converted into a public limited company.
  • The company set up a CFL assembly line with a capacity of 150,00,000 pieces at Unit II.
  • The company set up a PCB assembly line for CFL with a capacity of 300,00,000 pieces p.a. at Unit I.
  • The company commenced commercial production at Unit IV, Ahmednagar.
  • The company received ISO 9001:2008 certification for Unit II, Roorkee.

2011

  • The company commenced commercial production at Unit III, Greater Noida.
  • The company launched a new product, the Water Purifier.

2012

  • The Registered Office of the Company was shifted from 14/39, Shakti Nagar, Delhi-110007 to B-11, Mahendru Enclave, Delhi-110033.

2013

  • Mr. K A Khandelwal was appointed as Company Secretary and Compliance officer.

2017

  • PG Electroplast Ltd. successfully commissioned the PU Paint shop.

2024

  • The Company split its face value from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 1/-.
