1989
- The Company was incorporated as a Public Limited Company.
- The Company obtained the Certificate of Commencement of Business.
- The Company was promoted by Atlas Wires Limited, Shri Mahendra R Mehta, Shri Deepak M Mehta and Shri Milan M Mehta.
- The Company set up a plant to manufacture enamelled copper winding wires with an installed capacity of 3200 tonnes per annum.
1992
- The Company installed and commissioned a stand-by.
- The Company came out with a Public Issue of Equity Shares at par.
1995
- The Company embarked upon an expansion project of 1200 MT per annum for additional capacity.
1996
- 2,000 Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares were redeemed.
1999

- The Company approved the amalgamation of Atlas Wires India Ltd with the company.

- The Delhi Stock Exchange Association Limited delisted the equity shares of the Company.
2004
- Precision Wires India Ltd delisted its shares from Ahmedabad Stock Exchange.

- Precision Wires India Ltd has appointed Mr Roy Jacob as its Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.
2008
- Precision Wires India Ltd has appointed Shri C Mohandas Pai as the Chief Financial Officer.
2009
- Precision Wires has recommended a Dividend of Rs. 0.80 per Equity Share.
2010
- Precision Wires has recommended a Dividend of Rs. 4.40 per equity share.
2011
- Precision Wires has acquired 14 acres of Industrial Land in Andhra Pradesh for future expansion.
- Ms. Rajni Lalwani has been appointed as a Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.
