- Raj Group commenced operations as a videocassette lending library under the name 'Raj Video Vision'.
1984
- Raj Group started acquiring rights for Tamil feature films from various producers.
1987
- Raj Group ventured into the media and entertainment business with the setting up of an integrated studio, 'Rajendras'.
1992
- Raj Group was allotted airtime by the Doordarshan Metro Channel for producing film and song-based programmes.

- Raj Television Network Limited was incorporated on 3rd June 1994.
- The company's flagship channel, Raj TV, was launched on 14th October 1994.
1998
- The second channel, Raj Digital Plus, was launched on 14th March 1998 in analog format.

- Raj Digital Plus was converted into a digital channel.

- Raj TV, the flagship channel, was converted into a digital channel.

- Raj Television Network established its 5-storied studio cum corporate office.
2003
- Raj Television Network entered into a Transponder Service Agreement with Shin Satellite Public Company Limited.
2004
- Raj Television Network tied up with SRLC in Sri Lanka to download Raj TV and Raj Digital Plus.
2006
- The serial 'Geethanjali' completed 766 episodes.
- The company organized an award event to celebrate 75 years of Tamil movie entertainment.
