  • 60,600 shares were held by Balaji Investments Ltd., the holding company.

1985

  • The objects of the public issue of equity shares were to raise long term resources, broad base the company's shareholding, and get the company's shares listed on the Stock Exchange.
  • Equity shares were sub-divided on 19-06-1985.
  • 7,50,000 shares of Rs. 10 each were issued at par.

1986

  • The company proposed expansion/diversification in the manufacture of stainless steel pipes with an initial investment of Rs. 76 lakhs.
  • Requisite permission was received for the import of machinery.

1987

  • The company proposed to expand its manufacturing activities at Pen, Dist. Raigad, Maharashtra.
  • Production and turnover improved, but margins came under pressure due to escalation in raw material costs.

1991

  • The company offered 14,96,000 equity shares for cash at a premium of Rs. 4 per share on Rights basis.
  • Additional 2,24,400 shares were allotted to retain oversubscription.
  • 74,800 equity shares were issued to employees under the Employees' Stock Option Scheme.

1992

  • Margins improved substantially due to the savings made by substituting Indian raw material for imported raw material.

1993

  • Remi Edelstahl acquires 14.99 lakh shares of Achal Sampati Resource Pvt Ltd.
