2005
- The company was originally incorporated as Sanathan Textiles Private Limited and received a certificate of incorporation on October 10.
2006
- The company took over the business of manufacturing polyester yarn from Sanathan Texturisers with a capacity of 4,500 MTPA.
2007
- The company commenced cotton yarn manufacturing at its facility located at Silvassa with a capacity of 1,500 MTPA.
2008
- The installed manufacturing capacity of polyester yarn reached 13,550 MTPA, tripled from 4,500 MTPA.
2011
- The manufacturing capacities of cotton yarn were doubled from 1,500 MTPA to 3,500 MTPA.
2013
- A fully integrated plant for polyester yarn was set up and the installed manufacturing capacity reached 46,500 MTPA.
2014
- The manufacturing capacity of polyester yarn was almost doubled from 46,500 MTPA to 92,950 MTPA.
2015
- The manufacturing capacities of cotton yarn were increased from 3,500 MTPA to 6,200 MTPA.
2017
- An expansion of the value-added product basket was undertaken and upgraded machinery for polyester and cotton yarn was installed.
2018
- A plant was set up for manufacturing yarns for industrial and technical textiles with a capacity of 5,475 MTPA.
2019
- The installed manufacturing capacity of polyester yarn reached 200,750 MTPA, almost doubled from 92,950 MTPA in 2014.
2020
- The capacity of cotton yarn manufacturing was more than doubled from 6,200 MTPA to 14,000 MTPA.
2021
- The company was converted into a public limited company pursuant to a special resolution passed by the shareholders.
- The company's name was changed to Sanathan Textiles Limited.
- IDY capacity expansion reached up to 9000 MTPA.
2024
- The subsidiary commenced production of Double Twisted Cotton Yarn at Silvassa Unit 3 with a production capacity of 540 MTPA.
