Company History

1985

  • The company was originally incorporated as a Public Limited Company with the name Spotlight Trade & Finance Limited.
  • The company made its maiden Public Issue of Equity Shares aggregating Rs. 15 lacs.

1993

  • The Company changed its name to Shriyam Securities & Finance Ltd.

1994

  • The Company incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Shryam Broking Intermediary Limited, to specialise in broking and portfolio management.

1996

  • The wholly owned subsidiary, Shriyam Broking Intermediary Limited, acquired a membership card of BSE.

1997

  • The Company launched its Fixed Deposit Programme.

2000

  • The Company entered into software development, e-commerce, and trade, and other related activities.
  • Mr. Devesh Chaturvedi, the Chairman, acquired 8,70,350 additional shares along with his family members.

2006

  • The Company recommended a dividend of 10%, which is Re 1 per share on Equity Shares of Rs 10 each.

2007

  • The Company approved an investment of up to Rs 50 crores in Antique Stock Broking Ltd and/or Antique Group.
  • The Company appointed Mr. Naveen Chaturvedi as Executive Director.
  • The Company approved a dividend of 10% of Equity Share Capital, which is Re 1 per equity share of Rs 10.

2008

  • The Company approved a dividend of 10% of Equity Share Capital, which is Re 1 per equity share of Rs 10.

2009

  • The Company recommended a final dividend of 10%, which is Rupee 1 per equity share.

2010

  • The Company recommended a final dividend of 12%, which is Rupee 1.2 per equity share.

2011

  • The Company recommended a final dividend of 12%, which is Rupee 1.2 per equity share.

2012

  • The Company recommended a dividend of Rs. 0.60 per share, which is 6% of the Equity Shares of Rs. 10.

2014

  • The Board of Directors of the Company appointed M/s R. Jaitlia & Co. as Internal Auditor of the Company.
