1959

  • The company was incorporated and acquired a paper mill for a consideration of Rs. 7.16 lakhs.

1968

  • The company increased its capacity to 24 TPD.

1970

  • The company increased its capacity to 24 TPD.

1982

  • The company's capacity was further enhanced to 45 TPD.

1994

  • The company came out with a public issue of 12,80,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each at a premium of Rs. 50 per share, aggregating to Rs. 768 lakhs, to finance a co-generation project.

1995

  • 220,000 equity shares were allotted to promoters and associates at a price of Rs. 60 per share on a firm basis.
  • 12,80,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each at a premium of Rs. 50 per share were allotted to FIs, Mutual Funds, and the Indian public through a public issue.

1996

  • The high pressure power boiler became operational from February.

1998

  • The Company undertook an expansion project for setting up an electro static precipitator system, a high pressure boiler, a new paper machine, and a turbo generating set of 3.5 MW capacity.

2010

  • South India Paper Mills gave a bonus in the ratio of 1:1.

2012

  • The Board of Directors recommended a dividend of 22% on the Equity Capital, i.e., Rs. 2.20 per share for the year.

  • The Board of Directors recommended a dividend of 22% on the Equity Capital, i.e., Rs. 2.20 per share for the year.

  • The Board of Directors recommended a dividend of 15% on the Equity Capital, i.e., Rs. 1.50 per share for the year.
