- A manufacturing unit, Numeric Controls and Systems, started its operation.
1989
- Hi-Power Corporation was promoted as a partnership firm for the purpose of distribution of batteries used in UPS systems.
1992
- M/s. Numeric Engineers shifted its manufacturing activities and technologies to its group concerns and focused its attention on marketing, installation and maintenance of NUMERIC brand UPS system manufactured by group concerns.
1994
- Numeric Power Systems Limited was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 12th September.
- The company obtained the Certificate of Commencement of Business on 21st September.
- M/s. Numeric Engineers was inducted as one of the Partners of M/s.Numeric Controls and Systems, as on 30.11.1994.
1995
- The company was ranked 85th on an All India basis in the Information Technology industry by DATAQUEST.
1996
- The company was ranked 1st as UPS Manufacturer of the year, 2nd as Power Electronic Company of the Year, and 1st as Power Electronic Equipment manufacturer of the year by SOFTDISK.
- The company was ranked 85th on an All India basis in the Information Technology industry by DATAQUEST in 1995, but the award was given in 1996.
2006
- Numeric joins hand with Socomec to market UPS units
2007
- Mr. S. Krishnamurthy has been appointed as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company with effect from November 01, 2007.
2008
- Numeric Power Systems Ltd has appointed Mr. R Venkataraghavan as an Additional Director (Independent Director) of the Company.
2009
- Swelect Energy Systems has given the Bonus in the Ratio of 1:1
2010
- The Company has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding, with the majority stakeholders of M/s. Amex Alloys Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore for acquisition of Equity Shares upto 92% and to take over the Management Control of M/s. Amex Alloys Pvt. Ltd.
2011
- The Company has acquired 100% stake in M/s. Amex Irons Pvt. Ltd. situated in Coimbatore.
2012
- Numeric Power is now Swelect Energy.
- Swelect Energy buys 49% stake in HHV Solar.
- Interim dividend of Rs. 120 per equity share.
- Company has changed its name from Numeric Power Systems Ltd. to Swelect Energy Systems Ltd.
2013
- Swelect Energy acquired stake in HHV Solar for around Rs 22 crore.
- Company also acquired 8% Equity Shares in Amex Alloys Private Limited.
2014
- Swelect Energy buys 51% stake in HHV Solar.
2015
- Commissioning of 10 MW SPV Solar Power Park near Musiri Taluk, Trichy
2016
- Swelect Energy Systems bags 10 MW Solar Power project.
2018
- SWELECT is proud to introduce SOURCE to the Indian market to provide drinking water for every Person in every place across the country.
2019
- The Company has issued Bonus Shares in the Ratio of 1:2.
2022
- Commissioned 4 MW Solar Power Plant by SWELECT RE Power Private Limited on 28.12.2022.
- Commissioning 11 MWac Solar Power Plant by SWELECT Renewable Energy Private Limited.

- Commissioning 7 MW Solar Power Plant by SWELECT Taiyo Energy Private Limited.
2024
- Commissioning 7 MW Solar Power Plant by SWELECT Clean Energy Private Limited.
