Definition of Ask or offer price
The ask or offer price is the price at which the investor is willing to sell the security or the asset he or she is holding. It is the lowest price which means that the investor is not willing to sell the asset at a lower price than this. When the ask price of the seller matches the bid price of the buyer, then the trade is executed.
